Facilitation by design
Designers are particularly adept facilitators and workshop hosts. We’re able to play out scenarios without attachment to a particular direction, prototype ideas without fondness for a particular outcome, and we learn by experimenting and iterating. It just keeps getting better!
I’ve facilitated 70 workshops, domestically and internationally, from startups to in-house teams, for a few hours to a whole week, for groups between 3 and 50 participants – and co-taught a course on how to facilitate.

“In his role as the primary facilitator of design critiques, Josh helped to create a safe space for designers of all levels to constructively discuss a variety of design solutions. Our discussions were framed in terms of the user problems we sought to address. Simply put, Josh helped me to become more effective in my role as a designer.”
