The summer after I departed Twitter, I was so grateful to land inside the now-shuttered Sequoia Design Lab team, led by James Buckhouse. Over five months, I advised a number of portfolio companies on integrated brand/product/marketing strategy and brand identity design, and authored a designer career ladder used across their portfolio companies.
